TNRBio continues to expand its international partnerships by collaborating with Nishinihon KS Co., Ltd. from Japan on a study project focused on controlled-THC hemp cultivation. The initiative aims to enhance production standards and support the development of the global hemp industry.
As part of this collaboration, a delegation from Nishinihon KS visited TNRBio’s hemp cultivation farm to observe the full cultivation process. The visit included an in-depth study of the entire workflow, from seedling propagation and THC level control to harvesting and the drying process of hemp plants.
The study visit took place from 24–27 March 2026 at TNRBio's Hemp Research and Development Center within Maejo University in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This collaboration marks another important step for TNRBio in exchanging knowledge and technology related to hemp cultivation with international partners. Nishinihon KS also plans to initiate a hemp cultivation project in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, in the future.
TNRBio hopes that this partnership will help elevate hemp cultivation standards and create new opportunities for the Thai hemp industry to expand onto the global stage.
